Markstrom in a 1-year league

I'm in a 16team league and goalie pickings are slim. I was wondering whether or not people would think that Markstrom could play himself onto the team to take a considerable number of games with the Panthers this year.

He had a great game tonight and I was wondering whether or not I should drop Emery hoping that he might just challenge for a timeshare.

I would hold off. I would rather have Chicago's back-up than Florida's back-up right now and throughout the season. That may change if Florida turns out to be half decent and he steals the job, but I feel the probability of that happening isn't very high at the moment.

Edit: if you want to be sure, I would drop a skater before Emery.

In a one year I'm not so sure this is a good idea. You only have one starter workhorse and a 2nd-3rd stringer in Nabokov and a backup in Emery. Markstrom could as you put it play himself into a backup role although the chances are greater that when Clemmenson returns he gets shipped back down to the minor affiliate leaving you worse of in the end. This isn't a gamble you can afford to take at the moment in my opinion.
