You could try it... But he'd be an idiot to give up Heatley for Dubbie... Actually, I'd be a little insulted if I was the other owner.
Team and league in sig.
Would you do this trade?
I see Dubinsky as 60pts/100PIM and Heatley as 70pts/50PIM
Is the drop in PIM's worth the 10pts?
Looking at my team, do I need more points, or do I need more PIM's?
My gut is telling me that Heatley is the better player, but that Dubinsky actually makes my team better.
Thoughts?

i would keep dubi in this situation, heatley is prob the better player and should be a little higher, not much but a tiny bit, but u have no other PIM in your forwards. that is by far gonna be your hardest category with only really dubi and phanuef putting up a lot of PIM. i would almost look to trade a stud forward for an upgrade somewhere and a lot of PIM help

@Two on One - why insulted?
Heatley is nowhere near the player he used to be. Dubinsky is an up and coming power-forward type guy who will get 25g, 35a, 100 PIMs...
I would keep Dubinsky. you don't need Heatley...as you said, Doob is more valuable to your team. Don't get overexcited about Heater's name brand.
Heatley may have had a down year last year, but I think he's going to be finding his groove again this year with Minnesota. I think he'll play knowing he needs to carry the load more than he had to in SJ where points would come from several talented forwards. Dubinsky's PIM makes it more interesting... but I think Heatley will out point Dubinsky by 15-20 points by the end of the season. I've been wrong before though...

I ended up rejecting the trade, and I think he may come back with a 2 for 2 trade. Who knows?
