Santorelli offers stability which I like. He put up 20 goals and 20 assists in a healthy season. I would side with him although Taormina is the kind of guy that could overachieve based on opportunity alone due to the NJ cap situation.

I'd trade Rakashani or Tarmina for Santorelli in a heartbeat. Like Eric said, Santorelli should become a consistent scorer. Probably at least 45 points a year, while probably edging towards 50 points.

Meanwhile, Rakashani and Taormina are both projects who has some potential, but aren't too good. They would turn out well if they can become consistent 50 point players, but Santorelli is practically that already. So why not just go with the proven in Santorelli?

I like santo more than rhett or taormina but would hesitate to label him a consistent 40 or 50 pt scorer. he also achieved that with plenty of icetime theres no guarantee the new coach is Fla likes him as much as DeBoer seemed to. lets see another season of around 20 goals 40+ pts then we'll talk again...lol :-)
