"Looks like Ray Emery will get his second straight start tonight vs. the Kings."

This guy normally knows what he's talking about, so I'm positive Emery starts.

But that Nash's 2+2 was big. There was at least one team that had Nash and Emery.

Pretty sweet, I got in 5th and 9th...

Submitted a team for my wife

5th place team had the following

    Milan Lucic
    Henrik Zetterberg
    Corey Perry
    Scottie Upshall
    Steven Stamkos
    Joe Pavelski
    Jonathon Blum
    Andrej Meszaros
    Ray Emery

Dissapointing here for me were Stamkos, who I thought was gonna destroy Ottawa... and Lucic I expected more of as well. Strategy with both teams was the big gamble on Emery
    and the 9th place team

    Matt Moulson
    Jamie Benn
    Martin St. Louis
    Corey Perry
    Andy McDonald
    Joe Pavelski
    Alex Pietrangelo
    Kevin Shattenkirk
    Ray Emery

With the obvious dissapointment of St.Louis and Shattenkirk

Now, I wonder do any of you play this more often?

Yeah, I have used it sometimes. But lately I have used this more though, found it a bit more clear: http://www.goaliestatus.com/

Anybody play this more often? I want to know how the real money thing works, but rather hear it from someone from here... Do you just enter a "league" or you need to submit your team, and someone matches you up?

Anyone can shed some light on this?

I'm still shocked that this team of mine ended up being as bad as they were (i finished below 100th). That's why I don't really put any stock in daily challenges or individual NHL game betting though... it's complete luck when it really comes down to it. The people that won were basically the people that picked 1 player (pavelski) out of a sea of players available and got lucky.

Who would've thought that Pavelski would do better in this format than Lucic, Carter, Stamkos, Chara, and Lidstrom combined... *shakes head*

Agree in most of your part, but the fact you picked Colin Greening probably has something to do with the fact you didn't win In things like this, putting too much stock in goalies and d usually makes you lose.

I entered again for today with my winnings, let's see how it pans out. I have no clue how this website operates, and how it works. Can you even "collect" your cash?

I think there's a way to collect it via paypal?? I dunno...

And I didn't put THAT much stock in D and G... basically, I went after great guys at each position, while taking the best guys possible at low salaries (Emery, P-M Bouchard, Greening). With all the powerplay stuff, pims, +/-, etc... having good defenders isn't a terrible idea... even though they don't contribute much in shots (necessarily), they can make up for it in the other categories...

P.S. Greening was actually one of my highest pointing forwards. He had 2 or 3 fantasy points... That's what I mean... my luck was just horrid...
