Default Any Parise or Phaneuf Updates?

In the 2nd league listed in my sig, Parise was just dropped (along with Phaneuf by another squad). Does anyone have anything concrete about when Parise and Phaneuf are returning? I want to pick both of those guys up a few days before they return to game action. Karlsson and Tanguay are the perfect guys to drop, but I can't drop those guys now and slip from my perch atop the standings waiting for Parise and Phaneuf to return.

Btw, in case you're wondering why those guys have been dropped, we only have 1 IR spot. For whatever reason, those guys were chosen as drop candidates for those squads over other guys.

Not sure I am a lot of help NYR - I have Phaneuf on IR and am expecting him back in the next 7 to 10 days. I think Parise is an after new year's return.

Phaneuf is about 1-2 weeks away. I would think Parise is closer to 2 months.

not sure about Phaneuf but Parise should be back around mid-January. That's a long way away but even in a league with one IR spot i think you'd have to be crazy to not hold him there.... hes an elite player.

This is all I've heard for Parise

"Parise (knee) remains out until January or early February recovering from a torn meniscus and was seen at Pat Burns' funeral on crutches Monday.

There has been no official word on the status of Parise's recovery but all there has also been no reporting of setbacks in the star winger's recovery. Parise's been a very durable player considering he's such a high energy player so we'd look for him back by mid-to-late January, by which time the Devils will hopefully have their act together. Parise could be a boon to your roster come that time if owners are frustrated with their lack of performance from a first-round pick.
