    Default [Rumour] NHL allows American drafted players to play in the AHL

    What's your thoughts on this Justin? I know you mentioned that Lehner should stay in the OHL for a nother season (2 in the OHL) then play 2 years in the AHL. Plus you have stated that Jack Campbell should stay with the Spitfires for 2 seasons, then come up to the AHl for 2 season before playing NHL.

    Rumor? It's been this way the whole time. Everything that matters is what league these players were drafted out of. Morin wasn't the first player this happened to. There have been others, but John Carlson is another example.
