I would go with option B just to be safe.
Any updates on him?
Is he on track to get back to playing?
Or will his health issues linger and frustrate owners... for the rest of his career...
I would go with option B just to be safe.
I just want to see if he will get into double didgets for games played as he's played 5 and 8 the last two years.
Talk about money for nothing.
I'm lost on this one... all I know is - we need the freakin season to start ASAP... before we all go on meds!!
back to point... RDP... I think he'll be on IR after 2 preseason starts. That leaves....
drumroll please...
DA - WAYNE ROLOSON...
What are everyone's predictions for Roloson's stats this year? And yes, he was born in the 60's!! The 1960's...
10 Team H2H Points (Keep 1C, 2W, 2D, 1G, & 1 non-goalie):
G,A,+/-, PIM, PPG, SHG, GWG, OTG, FOWs, Hits, Blks, Maj, Mis, (bonus scoring for D-men makes them comparable to Wing)
Wins, Saves, GA, Shutouts
18 Man Roster (3 IR slots) Daily Start: 2C, 4W, 4D, 2G
C: Zibanejad, Thomas, Tavares
W: Stutzle, Robertson, Connor, Buchnevich, McCann
D: Makar, McAvoy, Josi, Theodore, Matheson, Harley
G: Georgiev, Binnington, Kochetkov, Andersen (IR)
Wow! Pullin' out the Roloson wildcard, Jhonny...that's sassy!
I like it!
@SmittysRant
Sassy might be my only weapon for a third Goalie and maybe even a second Goalie this draft... I pick 11th and 14th... all NHL projected starters are gobbled up in the first two rounds. It's my belief that the best available 10 through 21 are gonna be:
Quick (How long before I'm suffering from Heart Bernier)
Varlamov (scared to grab him after Justin's prediction of Neuvy),
Lehtonen (Is he really gonna stay healthy),
Ellis (I rank as high as 13th overall because I just have a feelin'),
C. Mason,
Gustavsson,
Neuvirth,
Thomas,
Leclaire,
Elliott,
Deslauriers,
Roloson (sneak him as my Sassy move... really, I mean even if RDP can put some games together, he will have at least some inflammation, and the Isles will want to rest him as often as they can....meanly at least 50% of the time)
Bomm Bastic, if you had these options... which two names do you target? There is a real possibility that I can and will go for the Washington Tandem. At least I know I'll have nearly 50 Wins there!
Another option is to pick best available (once i figure that one out), and then snag E. Staal for my #14 pick... he's best available positional player. Do that and hope for a Goalie to fall through the cracks as I next pick at #35 (yikes)...

Well I'd probably stay away from any Islanders net minder, but I'm a chicken shit like that. I always shied away from owning tandems too. Seems ya never know which one to start on any give game.
If I (you) were looking for 1yr help I would pick Quick, Elliott (LeClaire will stub his toe in no time), or Leighton ahead of Roloson - in that order. If it came down to Leighton vs Roloson, you could probably flip a coin, but I give an edge to Leighton just cuz of the team he's on. Don't get me wrong, I like the Roloson idea, it's definitely got some balls to it.
