I like your list BladesOfSteel.
9 times out of 10 I will take the slightly lesser winger over the better centre.
It's why I like D. Sedin/Kovalchuk over H Sedin/Backstrom/Malkin.
Assuming positional value as well as the combination of proven production and potential production, this is how I would draft the top 10 forwards for next year:
1. Ovechkin (LW): 60-60-120
2. Crosby (C): 45-60-105
3. Malkin (C): 35-70-105
4. Backstrom (C): 30-75-105
5. D. Sedin (LW): 45-55-100
6. Kovalchuk (LW): 50-45-95
7. H. Sedin (C): 20-80-100
8. Kane (RW): 30-65-95
9. Parise (LW): 45-45-90
10. Stamkos (C): 45-45-90

Kovalchuk if he was to sign with the Kings would make you think long and hard about picking him after Ovechkin and Crosby.
But Backstrom versus Malkin is interesting also.
Nice list Blades of Steel. That's a lot of players over 100 points, but I know you are not factoring in the inevitable injuries and such.
I think the Sedins will be hard pressed to repeat this year. I can see them hitting 90 point though.
Malkin should return to his 100 point ways. Backstrom should stay there.
Kane should hit 90+ points, unless the Cup hangover hits the Hawks, which it might.
Stamkos may take a small step back in the mid 80s, but I can't see him falling too far with Boucher behind the bench.
I like Kopitar to continue his progression to at least 85 points, perhaps 90+ if Kovalchuk signs with the Kings. That should also restore Kovy to the 90-100 point range.
I also wouldn't count out St. Louis, Gaborik, Thornton, Heatley, and Datsyuk from being in the mix. All these guys have some hockey yet to play.

Will Marc Savard bounce back to Top-10 status?
I agree with NYR. Can't see Savard rebounding to top ten. I doubt Iginla will either.

Savard will not top 100 points in Boston or elsewhere. Iginla won't ever score 100 unless he is on another team. Calgary has fallen off the map as far as fantasy points go.
Zorro says "vote for Dobber"
Angus is my best friend at dobberhockey..
I think time and playing style are just starting to catch up to Iggy. He should still be a 75-80 point player, but the days of 95 are done.
Savard needs a good trigger man (think about what he had in Atlanta) in order to pile up enough assists to get to 100, or even 90 points. Cant see that in Toronto or Ottawa.
