Default Kaberle Sharp / Hossa Afinogenov

I was offered a trade of my Kaberle and Sharp, for Hossa.

This would leave me with adding Afino to my keepers, but leaving me with no one on D unless I made a trade with another GM for a solid Dman or two.

Curious on some of your guys opinions on what Sharp and Kaberle's production might entail next season. As well as input on the switch of keepers.

I would not do this deal. I think you will see a solid mid 60 points out of Sharp and after what Kaberle did this year in TO think what he could do if moved to a more offensive team. He should be a top 10 dman anywhere from high 40's to as high as mid 50's. As it stands right now I don't know if Hossa is worth more then Kaberle alone.

You hit it on the head, you wouldn't have any D left and would have to trade for a solid one. Getting Hossa is fine but you have to have a positional backup with one keeper on D. Chances are if this guy is approaching you with this deal, he's tried for other similar d and failed. So the price for you to trade and get one back likely won't be any cheaper.

And looking at your roster, even if Sharp goes that still leaves you very, very Chicago heavy. Not a bad thing, but not everyone can get a point on each goal.
