I haven't seen Ottawa play much, so my basis of their G is more of what I've seen on highlights/stats pages.

Overall I agree with Notch that Elliott has been one of the bright spots in Ottawa this year; however there were a couple of points this season were both he and Leclaire were abysmal.

If Elliott stays hot, Ottawa is in great shape to pull off a first round 'upset'.

    Just my $.02.... Again

I thought Elliott was piss poor his first go around this season. When Leclaire first got hurt I thought he'd take over and we wouldn't see Leclaire again but he missed his first shot and even lost some starts to Mike Brodeur. When he got his second chance he didn't miss though so I think it remains to be seen which Brian Elliott we get. He comes in pretty hot but he is untested in the NHL postseason so that could change in a hurry.

I say the Sens chances just improved markedly with that performance

relax, it's game 1. i'm sure if the pens lose game 2, crosby and malkin will be double shifted

(i.e, crosby 1st line, malkin 2nd, and then taking turns centering 4th line)

He didn't lose starts to Brodeur. He had the flu, so Brodeur HAD to start.
    GO WINGS!
