Default Savard - Is he on the Bruin's IR?

I'm in a yahoo league and have been usually patient with them when they take a while to add new eligibilities and statuses, but this is ridiculous. Savard has been injured for about a week now, and he's probably going to be out until after the break. He's currently not on yahoo's IR, nor is he DTD.

Is Savard NOT on the Bruin's IR roster? This is the only reasonable explanation for this. If this is the case, which I doubt, will he be put on it, or am I going to have to drop him? Suitable replacement free agents are being swept up rather quickly.

Does anyone else have this problem?

He is not on the IR yet. But by the sounds of his injury he will probably be placed on IR retroactively at some point. Problem is, if they aren't sure whether he will be out long enough to be put on long-term IR (which gives them cap flexibility) they may not put him on regular IR unless they want to bring someone up from the AHL to take his spot on the roster. They've already got Whitfield (a forward) regularly sitting as a healthy scratch even with Savard out.

    Well damn it.

I'm not sure what to do here. Savard has been disappointing, but has had his good moments. Drop him? I doubt anyone will pick him up and sit on him for that long taking up a roster spot. but if he's put on IR, someone might.

Well with Krejci also injured I'd say it's pretty likely that they put Savard on the IR immediately in order to call-up Hamill/Marchand.

"The Boston Globe reports that Bruins C Marc Savard skated on his own Thursday for the first time since partially tearing his MCL on Jan. 7."

He's likely a ways away from playing, but he's been a quick healer in the past, hasn't he? Here's hoping he can get in soon. Before the Olympics would be nice, but for some of these injured guys it makes sense to get that long extra stretch to heal up.
