    Default Chris Bourque

Now back in Washington, (Hershey to be exact), does he have a future with the caps or is he a career AHL'er. Dobber and other, what do you think

The unfortunate part is that other players are establishing themselves in the Caps lineup. Namely Fleischmann and Fehr. And veterans are fitting in nicely alongside the young stars. So the Caps will likely follow the same strategy moving forward.

So all in all, it's not looking good for Bourque IMO. Might not exactly be a career AHLer but might follow a path like Ryan Shannon.

Completely unimpressed with him as a pen, and this from a guy who has figured out the AHL and is 22/23 years old. Decent ice time with the pens, especilly when the injuries where at their peak, but still not able to put a puck in the net and get just a few spare assists.

He has a lot of work to do in the AHL. I would avoid the noid here.

Career AHL player. Dont waste your time with these smaller skill players. For every Marty St Louis, there are a 100 Chris Bourques.

AMEN! He is A - H - L material at its finest. He's no Rich "take that Nashville!!" Peverley or Matt "kick ass hockey name" Moulson. He's not for the bigs.

Yep, I agree, career AHLer at best. He's had his big shot, did not impress and will now descend. It's unfortunate, I had high hopes for him with that gene pool. I picked him up and stashed him on my farm, hoping for that lightning strike of chemistry with Ovie or Sid/Geno. Nothing. Time to cut him loose I think.
