H2H Sunday goalie dilemma
Last day of H2H for the week and it has never been this close.
Me: 3W GAA 2.18 SV%.924 0SHO
Other GM: 4W GAA 2.19 SV%.923 0SHO
Other GM has no goalies today and I have the option to play Luongo against the high scoring Oilers. If I sit Lou I win 2 categories but if luongo can win and allow 2 goals or less I get a tie on wins. If he gets a shutout I go 3-0-1.
I'm leaning towards the risk being greater than the reward.
Thoughts?

Gotta play him. You are losing 2 of the possible 3 cats and the other is a push right now (SO).
There is a lot of risk since Loungo played hard last night but I would expect the Oilers to be tired too (lots of games lately and the flu).
You need to have a chance at tying the W and winning the SV% cats.
Youngblood made a mistake. I'm winning both the SV% and GAA by the slightest margin.
Does that change your opinion?

How are you doing in your offensive categories?
Crazynuck - can't see how it makes sense to put 4 points clearly at risk for the sake of gaining 1 and remotely 3. Not smart money to start Lou here. you already have 5 of a possible 8 goalie points this week - Penner and Hemsky are scoring in the top 5 in the league over the last two weeks - don't see a shutout.

The right move was not to play him. Now that you didn't play him, he got the shutout. But if you played him he would have lost and let in a ton of goals. So Frustrating!

Funny how fantasy hockey works. Lou with the shutout.
Look for Lou to start his normal November hot streak a bit earlier this season.
Although I sat Lou I was happy with my decision.

I must've read your opponents SV% as .925....sorry about that.....I probably would've told you to bench him too. But hope you played him anyways.
Didn't play him... still the right move as I couldn't have only won 2 pts but lost 4 pts.
I still won the week 7-2 instead of 8-1-1.
Not a big deal... too high of a risk with a hot Oilers team the past week.
