    Default Kevin Connauton (Canucks 3rd rounder) - headed to WHL

    Leaving WMU (one of the worst programs in NCAA hockey)after one year for the Giants. The Canucks obviously recommended this to him.

    This is exciting - Canucks have never really had a prospect there before (Bliznak, but he was a 3rd line center).

    Connauton has a lot of upside - great skater, great offensive instincts. Needs to get bigger and better defensively.

    The Giants need him bigtime they are losing most of their D (timewise) next year.

    It's going to be a long year for the giants if Kane sticks in Atlanta.
