you have the youngest keeper league squad i have ever seen, that is unreal.
fwiw i wouldnt drop any of those guys for blum. the only one i would consider is carlson and his upside as good as blum's and he is in a better situation in washington.
Just read the daily ramblings and I'm wondering if I should grab Blum while I still can. I would have to drop one of:
My D are:
Erik Karlsson
John Carlson
Victor Hedman
Ryan Whitney
Ryan Suter
Eric Johnson
Do you believe Blum is closer than anyone to making it?
Do you think he has a bigger upside than anyone on the list?
Would you do it now or wait. (Blum was picked in our league but was just dropped.)
Thanks

I agree with blindside in that I wouldnt drop any of those guys for Blum. I just dont see him as a potential impact fantasy d-man especially as compared to that list.
If you can do this in your league...drop Radulov for Blum. Rads is not coming back for at least 2 years.

very young team
there is no defenseman i would drop for blum just yet, but i agree with the above poster. Trade Rads or Kabanov imo
Blum is worth it, however you do have a very good young D corps imo
I wouldn't worry about Blum. The only D-man you have that I might consider to be close to Blum is John Carlson. Carlson scored more points in Jr. last year and he's the right size to thrive in the NHL. I can see another D-man finding a nice groove in Washington at some point in time. He is a contender. Yes, there is also an opportunity for an elite blueliner in Nashville. Blum is only 170 pounds. Let him show you first.
(Blum is interesting)
I love Blum but you have to look at opportunity and Blum's size as well. He is too big of a risk to drop over any of those other Dmen.
If you could drop someone esle maybe... depends on your team makeup, league rules ect..
