This is the easiest Final 4 to cheer for in a very long time.
There are usually 1 or 2 teams I don't like in the final 4.
All 4 of these teams I can get behind winning the cup!

1. Dallas (Pavelski- almost40, Suter 39, Benn 34 cup... amazing... would be amazing for those guys. Even guys like Tanev 34, Duchene 33, and Boston fans don't want to hear it... but this would be the more cherished cup win for Tyler Seguin's career, at age 32)

3. Edmonton - for the general country of Canada. Plus - every superduperstar in hockey lore has a Cup... right.... it sort of defines hockey over some of the other sports (well NBA too)... McJesus - c'mon... might as well get it over with.

4. Florida - I mean, I don't mind Florida - I love Matt Tkachuk... but I also think this team is set-up for years to win... so it'll be there next year if not this one.

I would be fine with any of them winning it. But I'm always about what gives hockey a higher profile, so I'd say NYR would best accomplish that.

Dallas would be my pick to see hoist the cup. Florida #2.
Feels bad the cats have NEVER won it, would be nice to take it home a year after losing.
Dallas just seems like a more like-able team with the young & old guys coming together to put together a really solid couple seasons - reaching its peak now despite Seguin and Benn (rougher when it isn't because of your high-salary guys).
Oilers, I hope McDavid goes to the HoF without a cup. (Ovi ruined that and was the previous candidate).
NYR - I just don't like New York. If Manhattan sank, I'm not sure the rest of us would miss it (and all the sky scrapers would still poke out above sea level).

Bingo. I love Pavelski so I want it for him.
I'll be happy regardless of who wins. Lots of middle-career players for whom I want them to eventually have a ring (McDavid, Draisaitl, Shestyorkin, Barkov) and Florida has never won. But this is almost certainly it for Pavelski.
