Dangit, you're right about not North American. The only other person who seemed to fit is Hugh Jessimen but he didn't play in many leagues.

Actually I am Hugh Jessiman - wording was 'a number of teams in other leagues'. Jessiman did spend a lot of time in the A but basically changed teams every year after leaving the Rangers system, where even then he got shuffled between the A and ECHL.
