Seeing these teams beside each other just reminds me of Cujo, Marchant, Langenbrunner. Todd Harvey. Arnott. Dougie Weight.

Absolutely. I'm hoping McLeod wakes up and finds his inner Marchant of old!

People still think the Oilers are just an offensive team but they are turning into a very good defensive team as well. Skinner has to be the difference.
100% agreed. Oiler's have the best special teams this playoffs and can grind it out 5on5 if they need to. Goaltending for them just has to be slightly above average and Knoblauch has the confidence to go back to Pickard at any time. Dallas might be deep but they don't have the game breakers that Edmonton has.

Dallas's depth and ability to grind the Oil down (I think the Canucks were harder on them than most realize), compounded with suspect tending, Dallas in five. Only caveat is whether the Stars can keep the Oil off the PP. I also think the Stars jump on them early and take the fight out of them.

Is it really confidence what makes you choose Pickard in a conference final? Imagine the balls to instead go Campbell.. :-s

Campbell hasn't played in an actual game in almost a month (April 21 with Bakersfield). Barring an injury, I don't think there's any chance we see him again this season.

Dallas in 4 - they have a goalie who has played more than 9 regular season NHL games and they are too deep. Coilers goal tending isn't going to cut it.

I voted like I'd be betting, Dallas in 6, but my heart wants Edmonton to somehow pull it off. I had Dallas as the Stanley Cup winner, so go Oilers!?

    Can Heiskanen contain McDavid?

Makar can. Going to be neat to see how this one turns out.

Meh doesn't matter. Open net still gets stopped.

The hesitation from McDavid on that open net shot was really weird.

A glitch in the matrix? Just a moments hesitation, unusual from McDavid.
