I threw a dart and it landed on Wallstedt.
Askarov
Wallstedt
Wolf
All three teams seem to be thinking about trading one of their veteran goalies, which should open up a spot for these guys. Similar but different situations for all. Still a bit early to expect too much from them, but at least one of them will likely be worth picking up now. The question is - which one? No one knows, so a guess is good enough.
I threw a dart and it landed on Wallstedt.
Wouldnt Gustavsson be ahead of Wallstedt?
My personal preference is Askarov but I don't have a particular reason why.

If you looking rest of season I’d go with wolf only bc he is getting the call-ups and playing time.
Long term honestly that is a question that is pretty much a guessing game bc with goalies you have no idea.
Personally long term for me its: askarov, wolf, wallstedt
Don’t forget that the first two on my list the teams will probably be going through a retool or even rebuild when they take over and wall to me is behind gustavsson and while he doesn’t get the love I think they will ride him for the next handful of years.
All this depends ofcourse that saros isn’t resigned and markstrom is traded.. otherwise the wait will be longer

Assuming you don't care about the rest of this season.
Long term for me, it's:
Askarov
Wallstedt
Wolf
Shorter term, I like Wolf above the others.
Like others have said though, all of the foregoing is, at best, a mildly educated guess.

I picked Wallstedt, without good reasons. Fleury should get traded before the deadline.
1. The 6'5" guy drafted 11th overall with .921 save% in AHL and .943 save% in 2 NHL games this year.
<Tier Break>
2A. The 6'0" guy drafted 214th overall with a .927 save% in AHL and .887 save% in 6 NHL games this year.
2B. The 6'3" guy drafted 20th overall with .907 save% in AHL and .794 save% in 1 NHL game this year.
Tough to pick between the short guy with bad draft capital who has been performing great and the guy with solid height and great draft capital who has been performing not great, but it is really easy for me to put the tallest guy with great draft capital who has crushed in both leagues this year at #1 with a tier break after him. I also have a thing for Russian goalies.
There is no clear cut answer. But I do think it's not a coincidence that there's been a lot of very good goalies who were 6'5'' or taller, like Ben Bishop, Devan Dubnyk, Pekka Rinne and, currently, Adin Hill and Jacob Markstrom. So that might tilt the scales to the 6'5'' Askarov. Of course, Mads Sogaard is 6'7'', and he's not had a great go of it in the NHL this season, but he was never really considered in the same echelon as Askarov.

Elite prospects has Askarov at 192cm and Wallstedt at 191cm. It's smaller than a half a thumb in difference. I believe Askarov is playing for a top AHL team in contrast to Wallstedt. Could be that Askarov turns out better, but for me - it's a toss up still.
NHL.com has them both 6'3 and Wallstedt being 36 pounds heavier than Askarov. Not sure where you are getting information that Askarov is 6'5.
I just quoted what the poster above me said, so if he's not actually 6'5'', then disregard my comment
