Lightbulb Early Keeper Outlook And Trade Strategy

League in my signature. Looking to solidify my keeper outlook to plan in advance of the trade deadline and would appreciate some input. Here are my current thoughts:

    Definite Keepers
    MacKinnon
    Barkov
    Miller
    Fiala
    Jarvis
    Hughes
    Fox
    Matheson
    Drysdale
    Vasilevski

    Potential Keepers
    Vilardi
    Kyrou
    Byfield
    Sillinger
    Wilson
    Raymond
    Jenner
    Johnston
    Bennett
    Terry
    Letang
    Woll
    Daccord
[may be able to send Tarasov down]

Will only be able to pick 5 off the maybe list so I'm thinking I need to consolidate at the deadline, packaging maybe Johnston and Raymond, but don't want to give up too much "now" as I chase this championship.

Thoughts/opinions on the lists? Who should move from Probably to Definitely or vice versa?

If you're going to keep those four D, you need to trade Letang while he can still fetch a decent return. I'd deal Woll too. The last time a Toronto goalie played over 45 games with a GAA under 2.60 was more than 20 seasons ago. Wilson is also a guy to trade, although the time to have done so ideally was a year ago. Still, take what you can get, as Washington looks cooked.

Thanks for the input Roos. You got me thinking Drysdale belongs with the maybes rather than the locks

I wonder if you could package Fiala with a nice young gun to get yourself a better keeper (fwd or dman). Some of your youngs guys to consider; Raymond, Sillinger, Drysdale, Vilardi of from your farm Knies/Benson/Savoie

Add to potentially trading Letang, maybe even consider Matheson if Letang doesn't get much traction.

Would consider moving 1 of Woll or Daccord. In my eyes whichever guy you have the least amount of faith in.

As for 5 guys listed in potential keeper list:
    Q Byfield
    W Johnson
    J Kyrou
Final 2 spots are between Woll, Daccord, Vilardi, Terry or Wilson
I left my previous fantasy hockey league. So just some guy who likes and plays hockey.

Thank you much! good stuff to consider there. Hadn't thought about moving Fiala but yeah I might explore getting a real upgrade by packaging him.
