Volume goalies or stud goalies ?
Yahoo ! H2H keep 6 , 1 win
Our goalie categories are Wins, GAA, SV%, Shut outs.
Minimum 4 weekly starts.
3 active goalie spots on starting lineup.
In the past my game plan was to meet the 4 weekly starts and that was it.
Hoping to win 2 of the 4 categories.
I was relying on my skaters to win enough categories for the match win.
Only two of the goalie categories are volume stats, wins and shut outs.
Even though shut outs are far and few between.
It can be frustrating when starting a stud like Vasilevskiy or any of my starters and giving up 5 or 6 goals at the beginning of the week.
Then you can kiss goodbye GAA and SV%.
So the question is would you try to take advantage of the 3 goalie spots and try to max out as many games for the week as possible in an attempt to at least get wins and shut outs and forget about the GAA and SV%.
Just a thought.
