Elvis vs. Nedeljkovic rep given

It's the team in my signature.

I have Varlimov in as my starter, but my #2 is pretty important as he won't play a tone of games. I have Elvis and Nedeljkovic currently in my minors along with Raymond and Boqvist. I need to either call someone up or drop someone to make room for Lucius, who I picked this year.

There are a couple of options in the draft: Ullmark, Blackwood, Gibson, Hill. I pick 9th, so I expect to grab a forward, but the G will probably start going by the end of the round, leaving me with nothing by the 2nd. If I can't draft anyone, who would you call up?

I lean towards Merzlikins. We have such a small sample size with Ned, and none of it with his current team. Both teams will be bad, but I think Columbus is maybe a little bit better - especially with the Wings losing Vrana and only having a part-time player in Bertuzzi. Merzlikins enters this season as the clear #1 for the first time too.

I agree, and Columbus will tend to tighten up games given their lack of scoring power - Elvis should put up decent to good peripherals, which is exactly what you need in your 2G behind Varlamov. In the draft I'd target Ullmark, then Blackwood.

Ullmark is the only one of those goalie that I'd likely be drafting remotely early.
