Wennberg maybe?
Does anyone have any thoughts on who could be the Kraken equivalent to Karlsson?
There may be none but I'm curious to know which players you guys think will flourish when given a better opportunity.
Wennberg maybe?

William Karlsson was a huge surprise and should be considered an outlier.
I don't think it's fair to expect anybody to *pop* out of nowhere onto an expansion team.
Seattle is set-up as a pretty solid team, that may run 3/4 lines fairly evenly.
I really don't see any of these guys JUMPING their scoring up 10+pts... the way Karlsson did.
Gourde has had a 64pt season... a 48pt season... last year he paced for about 55pts.
I think we'll see him settle in as a 55-60pt guy... especially if he gets any PP1 time.
But really... I think this SEA team is going to be winning games 2-1 and 3-2... when they do.
No big blowouts... and no William Karlsson.

Yes, I agree with this. I don't think it's fair to expect one of Seattle's players to pop and blow expectations out of the water.
If I had to pick someone to outperform his projection, I'd go with Jarnkrok. He always looked to me as a player who was designated for defensive minutes in Nashville but would produce in limited offensive time.
The Kraken sucks and no there will be no 40 goal scorers appearing from thin air. Not sure anyone will reach 20 on that team.
The only member of the Kraken that I have fantasy interest is Vince Dunn.

I'm hoping McCann can be something. He has always wanted to be the guy - now show us why.
The first name that it could be a nice gamble in a salary cap fantasy it's Jared McCann : less than 3m$
And like William Karlsson, he arrived roughly at the same age in an expansion team (24 vs 25)
There is 3 good winger with Eberle, Schwartz and Donskoi so depending which one of McCann and Wennberg will be the 1st center, it's not that bad.
I'm expecting a 60-65 pts season

I like Geekie to really surprise people. He's not a stud by any stretch but he ticks some boxes that have gotten him onto my watch list.
-Energetic two way guy with size, fits the perceived mold of the character Seattle is going for
-Plays center and Seattle's center depth is abysmal
-Intriguing scoring pedigree in the WHL and AHL
-Still young and inexperienced - lots of room to grow
-Selected over more intriguing assets from Carolina so they clearly see something
-Prospect eligibility in most leagues
He won't be winning anyone the championship but I think he'll go from waiver fodder to serviceable fantasy asset in the right leagues.
