**Weber/Hartnell for Vanek?** (+Karma)

Just traded Shea Weber, Scott Hartnell and a 2nd round pick in next years rookie draft, for Thomas Vanek.

My team now looks like this

RW - Mueller (Rookie Keeper)
D - Phaneuf
D - Niedermayer
D - Vishovsky
D - Tyutin

G - Lundqvist
G - C.Anderson/Toskala/LeClaire


We keep 5 each year, plus the rookies we\'ve drafted previously (kept for 3 seasons).......so Vanek now enters my keeper list along with Malkin, Heatley, Phaneuf and Lundqvist.

i like the deal. getting hartnal out at his peak this year was key. you were already keeping. it made you a little weaker on D for this year, but added to your keepers.

Overall a good trade for you. Weber is a tough loss, but you still have Phaneuf to soften the blow, which helps a hell of a lot! Your keepers are strong with Vanek so I think you did quite well with this trade.
