Im in a yahoo league, standard pts
we only have for active spots:

my question is this. I have a trade out for my marleau for phaneuff, in team 2. Now I know marleau will get me 80-90pts at this pace, and phaneuff probably 55-60 plus shots, pm etc.

But my question is this and in general, is it worth trading away an 80pts player for a D 55=60pts because of the lack of great D vs decent forward production.

also...would you trade for phaneuff giving up marleau

Absolutely. I\'d much rather have Phaneuf than Marleau. An offensive C is much easier to replace than a top producing D.

i could pick up nylander or something i suppose but i think I will post this trade


thing is, i think it is more valuable to have a solid d..vs a c,lw who can hit 80, its that 90that it starts getting tough..but I think I\'ll accept this trade

one last question about d...burns or zubov?

trading a 80 pt winger, for a 65 pt d is golden. Dion will also give you the shots, similar pp points and give you the pims.

I will say burns. They may have simlar points (burns maybe a few less) but will also have the pims +/- etc.
