Its pretty even for me. Gudas actually slowed down in the last year
while Zadorov increased his production in these categories. For me
Gudas will give you more blocks, sog and some more points
Zadorov more hits, the PIM about even. I would take my chance with Gudas.

I'd rather Zadorov. Hits monster over the long haul. Competitive in blocks.

Gudas' usage has been up and down the past year or so it seems. So I just see Zadorov as offering a bit more consistency and he'd be my choice. Pretty close though.

(P.s. For anyone who snuck a read of my initial post and is now confused, yeah, I initially sided with Gudas and then flip-flopped two minutes later after thinking about it a bit further. Guess it's a reflection of how close this is for me. )

I like Zadorov. For most recent antagonists, the peak for PIM production is about 3-4 years. Zadorov's playing time is still ascending and he is still growing. Gudas is on the other side of his peak ruffian production. Fighters age out of fighting. Go with the younger guy.

I think its close enough that for me, I'd have to take Gudas' suspension history into account. His last suspension I believe was 10? games, so he's not going to get any benefit of the doubt when it comes to any questionable plays in the future (which is almost inevitable given his style of play).

    Go with Zadorov.
