    Default 6 Dman Spot

I have two Dman spots to fill. I will either have to drop one or two of these players and pick up a veteran(Green) or two, and/or stream the following from the minors on a nightly basis:

    Mete
    Guhle
    Belpedio
    J. Schmaltz
    Walman

I think a few have upside, but is it worth keeping them? Opinions?

I am in a similar 20 team league. I would not count on any of those D men to have any impact this season.

FWIW - I like to fill those last couple D spots with guys that get BLKS/HITS/PIMS. Guys like Oleksiak, Schenn, K. Miller, Mayfield, Manning, Hagg, Folin.

Filling to bottom D spots with 'futures' just means you end up with guys that don't score (yet), don't grit (yet) and don't always play.

If this is a daily start league I would look at Luke Schenn. He looks like he should get top 6 minutes, and he plays for Anaheim - who play an offbeat schedule to the rest of the league.
