Elliott or Varlamov? Wins/Losses only

Tough call. I'd probably go Elliot b/c I think he'll get into more games. (And Grubauer is more competition than Neurvirth).

It is a team stat, and I prefer the Flyers & Elliott. Both goalies have injury issues, and are middling sorts. Grubauer is the next guy for Colorado, and he could take over as soon as this year. The starting goalie for the Flyers in 2019-20 is very likely neither Elliott nor Neuvirth.

I like this question because its not always a who would you rather, top player for top player. I go Elliott here despite injury and constant Philly goalie trouble. I think Grub is the new man in Colorado and they will give him every opp to succeed. Varly may do well still in his action, but with so many injuries and inconsistency, he is on the way out the door. Elliott has more of a grasp on no 1 role and I like philly more as a team.

I would say the smart bet is Elliott but I can easily see Varly having more wins if he stays healthy. Given that this is unpredictable, I vote Elliott. I can also see a split right off the bat depending on how the first few games go in COL, so there's that. I feel like this is one where I go in making a bet that I have a hunch I will lose.
