Los Angeles Kings
I was watching the Preds fall since pick #3... damn. That would have been game over right there.
San Jose Sharks and Ottawa Senators.

(No I don't have a hockey problem...)
Los Angeles Kings
Montreal Canadians
Sorry for the wait guys... got distracted by the Dobber Tier III Norris draft last night.
I actually mentioned to them that I had a pick in the Wins pool...
Then my 8-year old daughter decided the world was ending...
And today has been busy at work.
I'm going out on a limb with a team that I think is ready for a HUGE jump.
And there's no way they'll slide 8 more picks to me, so I gotsa do it now.
YUGE jump.
YUGE.
Like size of Jina.
The Winterpeg Jets
Panthers of Florida.

12-team Keeper pool, straight points for forwards & dmen. Goalies get: 2 points per win, 3 per shutout, 1 point per assist & 1 point per shootout loss.
League champ in 2013, 2015, 2018, 2020 and 2022.
Top 8 forwards, 5 dmen and 2 goalies count.
We keep 15 players (any position) plus two rookies.
Forwards: Panarin, Ovechkin, Kopitar, Stamkos, Tuch, Rust, Marchessault, Pavelski, Miller, Bertuzzi, Stone, Kakko, Brown, Stankoven, Kovalenko
Defence: Hedman, Fox, Matheson, Thrun, Jiricek
Goalies: Kochetkov, Talbot, Vasilevskiy, Campbell, Schmid
Philadelphia Flyers
Carolina and Buffalo, the best of the worst
Arizona - because they play against the Golden Knights and Vancouver a bunch.
And adding Stepan and Hjalmararsson... this team should be a more rounded team. Domi stays healthy and all their young talent improves... I see them flirting for the final playoffs spot instead of the old boys like SJ and LA.
New Jersey
This is ugly. Only four teams to choose from, all horrible choices.
I'm going to go with .... the Red Wings? Sure. I'll take them.

I never thought I would see the day I chose the Colorado Avalanche in a hockey pool

(sorry, my picture imputing skills are poor. Lots of potential here, bring it home EB!)
And last but certainly not least, THE VEGAS GOLDEN KNIGHTS ** woo and the croud goes wild**

Can't go wrong with a good looking sign, a slick looking jersey, and some beautiful ladies. Hopefully for their win total is just as pretty.
I don't think Vegas is going to finish last in the NHL either, so I'm happy with the pick
Good draft all!
