Reminder for next year:
Here's a concept for this challenge going forward.
5-person leagues (or "Tier"s).
Each Player in a Tier chooses 6 teams.
Te final pick #30 having a choice from TWO teams, leaving 1 NHL team unpicked.
Every year in each league/tier, there will be promotion/relegation:
TIER Champ jumps +2 tiers
TIER 2nd jumps +1 tier
TIER 3rd stay in tier
TIER 4th falls -1 tier
TIER 5th falls -2 tier

I am guessing the only way we have of knowing when it is our turn to pick is to keep checking in on the thread....?

I've logged in to the site. Where do I find the option to customise email updates? I thought I was able to do it via the site last year.
For anyone seeing the two drafts going and think that they missed out... you have not missed out. PM me because we have some interest in a 3rd group!
So I would assume all wins are weighted evenly (regulation, overtime and shootout). Just curious what we were looking at in regards to tie breakers? Most regulation wins or subtract shootout wins?

Last year I think we said if there was a tie that we would just let two people win and have bragging rights. Since it was not for money.
But in the potential that there is a tie... I guess we could come up with a tie-breaker if people want. I think the tie-breaker that would make the most sense and be easiest to calculate is ROW wins.
Man, Group A is slacking with picks. Group B is killing us!

You guys get a cheat sheet to go off of
Have to say if I had an earlier pick in the second round Nashville would not have lasted that long...
Associate Editor for DobberHockey (Wednesdays). Click that Ramblings button on the the menu bar!
(No I don't have a hockey problem...)
We may..or may not have a slight problem, but it is easily solvable.... The site that I used last year and had starting setting up things for this year is 'unavailable'
If pickuphockey.com is down for good...I have a backup site that I can use.
Just wanted to let everyone know so that they were aware. Thanks.
