McAvoy for me, I like Sergachev but he will not pass Hedman anytime soon.
McAvoy vs. Sergachev
Points only league...who has the higher ceiling, both short and long term.
McAvoy for me, I like Sergachev but he will not pass Hedman anytime soon.
Another vote for McAvoy
Sergachev has the best upside/talent IMO but he won't have the same opportunity than McAvoy because he's stuck behind Hedman.

I think both have lofty fantasy expectations that they might not live up to, or at least not right away - tread lightly

McAvoy has a higher ceiling and on top of that theres virtually no way Yzerman plays Sergachev over 40 games this year. Overthinking here- Charlie Mac by a wide margin...
Yeah I have heard that Sergachev looks amazing and probably will be a fixture on the Bolts this year.
As for OP's question, I'm not really sure because its so close. I think maybe McAvoy if only because the path is clear for him to become the #1 all around defenseman in Boston.

Mcavoy now and for the future. He'll never have Hedman in front of him on the depth chart.
GET WELL SOON, DOBBER.
i love Mcavoy but in points only i think i would take Sergachev.
Seems easy for me Take McAvoy, because he will be with the Big Boys all season.
Where as Sergachev will play just under the game requirement for that ( higher draft pick from MTL) just a feeling
