Who has the higher upside? Who will be more productive this year using G, A, PPP, PIM and +/-?

Theodore has a better opportunity but ARI will score many fewer goals than ANA and +/- will be bad all around. Montour has a few blocks ahead of him but +/- should be better.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.

Oooooo... +/-... that's a doozy to deal with.
It is a very REAL consideration in pools that count it - but it's almost impossible to tell the weighting.

In ROTO, I absolutely will NOT entertain a guy that could be -30... like Theodore (on Vegas).
It's just too much to overcome.

In H2H, I can deal with it because you can choose your sit/starts as you manage that number throughout the week.

No doubt Theodore has more point-potential upside in Vegas.
But, no doubt Montour will have better +/- with sheltered minutes and a very solid ANA forward group (& goalie).

    For me:
    Theodore in H2H.
    Montour in +/- ROTO.

Montour, not only because +/- difference but the closer we get to the season the less convinced I am that Theodore plays the majority of the year for Vegas.

from an interview with GMGM and the Las Vegas Review-Journal this past weekend (https://www.reviewjournal.com/sports...george-mcphee/)

"Our defensemen can count. They know there are a lot of D here right now," McPhee said. "We'll just have to see how camp goes and how we proceed."

"To be fair, you'd like to say it's going to be the best six guys, but we'll see. Sometimes you have to think short term and long term in this job and do what's best for the organization from that standpoint."

This year I think Montour will be more productive based on your stats. Vatanen and possibly Lindholm being out to start the season should help Theodore significantly. Any year beyond the upcoming one and I would much rather have Theodore though.

Montour for me as well. I was extremely impressed at how well he played in the playoffs, both on and off the puck, and see a high offensive upside based on his skating ability and willingness to shoot.
