I would gamble with Barrie
Neither are great options, but I traded Benn, who I was planning on protecting for Scheifele. I then dealt Carter as I no longer needed the C. So, it's down to these two. It's the league in my signature, but here it is again:
C- Backstrom (2) Zibanejad (3) Scheifele (1) Athanasiou (2)
W Labanc (3), Wheeler(1), Pasternak (3) Palat (1)
D- Hedman (3) Skjei (2), Leddy (1) Lindholm (2)
G-Dubnyuk (1) Talbot (2)
MINORS- Guentzel(c), Vesey(w) , Montour(d) , Vrana(w)
We have contracts that range from 1-4 years and every year we can resign one player. Here are the scoring stats:
CATS:SKATER +-/G/A/SOG/PM/blocks
CATS:GOALIE GAA/W/SO/S
ANY WEEK WE PLAY 2C,3W,1F,4D,1G
I'm leaning towards barrie, but I do fear a further nose dive.

I would gamble with Barrie

Id go with Barrie too. I love Zetterberg, and he seems to never get hurt so it seems unfair to say hes gonna regress, but he will be 37 by the time the season begins, both are gambles. So gamble on the high upside offensive dman over the old guy who will be lucky to repeat a 60pt season.
10 Team Roto Keeper League; 20 Keepers;
Stats: G,A,Pts,ppg,ppa,pims,+/- ; W,sv%,svs

D: Subban, Doughty, Byfuglien, Jones, Mcdonagh, Fowler
G: Price, Holtby, Halak, Reimer
I'd keep Barrie just because of his age/potential but I don't like him very much in your format which counts +- but no PPP

Barrie, unless you think you can for sure be in the title picture this season

Of the two I'd keep Barrie. However I'd dangle both on the trade market and try to milk something out of one or the other. Maybe you can get someone to put something good down for Barrie given his age/upside.
