Good list, thanks for sharing
Spent the last couple hours researching about teams and goalies and line combos. I made some projections for teams next season and made projections for each starting goalie for wins/sv%/shut-outs. By using our point system (win = 2 pts, OTL = 1 pt, SO = 1 pt) these are the top 31 point getters - note I didn't project any OTL but I will add them in for my final fantasy hockey guide which will include top 300 forwards, top 150 deence, top 31 goalies for 2017/18 season. So in reality these numbers should be higher since each goalie should have some OTL points but here is my rankings so far. Let me know what your thoughts on this are? thanks

Here is my list with projected OTL which adds one point. Didn't put much science into it, just looked at their career averages and went from there. Tried to not let it effect the rankings but put it in there to have the points more realistic to what each of the top goalies got last season.

- Cam Talbot 85 pts 5 otl = 90 pts
- Devan Dubnyk 79 pts 4 otl = 83 pts

- Tuuka Rask 76 pts 5 otl = 81 pts
- Sergei Bobrovsky 77 pts 3 otl = 80 pts
- Carey Price 72 pts 5 otl = 77 pts
- Corey Crawford 73 pts 4 otl = 77 pts
- Ben Bishop 74 pts 2 otl = 76 pts
- Jonathan Quick 73 pts 4 otl = 76 pts

Good list, thanks for sharing
Nice one, I have Bishop and Vasilevskiy, going to be a tough call on who to start when the season starts.
11 team keeper league with salary cap (points only)
MY TEAM (start 13F, 6D, 1G):
FWDS: N. Kucherov, S. Stamkos, R. O’Reilly, J. Hughes, W. Karlsson, P. Kessel, B. Point, F. Vatrano, E. Pettersen, R. Rakell, C. Keller, N. Niederreiter, K. Labanc
DEF: J. Trouba, J. Morrissey, T. Krug, F. Hronek, S. Jones, D. Nurse
GOALIE: A. Vasilevskiy
BENCH: V. Mete, S. Niku, R. Andersson, T. Hirose, C. Glass, T. Jurco, C. McElhinney
NOTES: We can only send players down if they get injured, otherwise they pass through waivers and we lose them for nothing + we have to pay half their cap.
A few thoughts
- Don't see any situation other than injury where Ward is the starter over Darling. $ talks and there is an unquestionable divide in talent
- Think you are undervaluing Andersen and Price. Toronto (not a fan) is going to continue its ascension up the standings and Price is still Price.
All in all not a bad list. Keep working on it!
I drafted Talbot in my dynasty's mason draft and paid a hefty price to upgrade Schneider into Holtby. Loving this list lol

The fact that you have Mrazek on there and not Jimmy Howard is an oversight IMO. There's a reason they protected Howard and left Mrazek exposed.
Same for Darling and Ward. Darling coming in will be the starter in Carolina and I believe a pretty good one.
I also believe this is the year that Luongo starts to take a backseat to Reimer.
I wouldn't even have Varlamov in the top 31 as I think some sharetime goalies will be a better option than Varlamov.
I can also see Schneider climbing back to relevance this year.
Just my opinions. Always fun to read someone elses.

I'll admit that this is the first time i really took the time and projected goalies and in the past years when i drafted them I just went with one of the worst in the league and bought high on forwards. Am going to continue to work on this list to make it better and not just commit 100% of my time on forwards. One thing I DO know is I live and die by the lists I make, have had 2 successful years in a row and know I couldn't have done it without the help of you guys.
Thanks for the input

my nyi colored glasses say if Halak stays with islanders he reclaims #1a spot so I'd basically switch him with your Greiss spot .

(No I don't have a hockey problem...)
With montreal limiting his starts and montreal not having that strong of a team and since it's it's basically a win league I find his value is a tad overrated. He finished 7th last year in pts
Are any of you guys in similar 1 year leaguess where goalies are scored like this? Win - 2pts O.T.L - 1pt SO - 1pt
I did the sv percentage projection for fun but if I was in a league that tracked sv percentage. G.A.A my rankings would be totally different but strictly basing these on my league stat categories
Like others, surprised with where you have Darling and Mrazek.
In any event, your list is very helpful to a fellow (and less experienced) pooler like me, so thanks for sharing

This list makes me happy. In the 14 team Keep 5 league in my sig, I have Talbot and Jones and goalies are absolutely hard to get in NAHANA without overpaying.
With 6 goalie categories out of 15, over 1/3rd of your categories are being decided by 2-3 players, so there is less margin for ineptitude. Granted Jones and Talbot do not post the most sterling GAA or Sv%, but they are at least top 10-15 with above average Wins and Saves.
