Morgan Rielly and Mike Matheson are 2 young D who I think could out-perform their projections.
The only thing holding these two back is PP minutes. One year soon Rielly will hit 50 and this year he could flirt with that mark this year.
Ok everyone, I'm really curious to find out who everyone's fantasy D sleeper picks are for this season. And possibly projections. Would really appreciate all the feedback I can get. Thanks in advance.

Evander Kane. Every year he teases and every year, he fails to deliver.
Why this year is different than the rest? Eichel's a year older/better.

Lindell - Dallas is going to score a lot and Klingberg can only be in on so many of the goals.
Orlov - Can he become the PP QB for the stacked Washington PP... with Carlson injury history it is possible.
Morrisey - More experience and if Buff gets injured at all I think he steps up in a big way.
Deep Sleepers
M. Bowey - for same reason as Orlov above but more offensive then Orlov, but less proven game
I'll throw in Charlie McAvoy's name. He's been successful every level he's played and didn't look out of place playing 25+ mins/game in the playoffs last year. I only expect 30-35 points this year but in a keeper he's worth buying now.
12 Team H2H
Skater Cats: G, A, P, PPP, SOG, HIT, BLK
Goalie Cats: W, GAA, SV%

Pulock - now Hamonic is out of NYI and Pulock had 46 points in 55 games for Bridgeport last year.
Someone, SOMEONE, has to grab the job at running the Canucks powerplay. Is it going to be Stecher? Edler? Del Zotto? It has to be someone right?!?!
- Edler hasn't had a PP force since 2011-12
- Stecher has 71 games under his belt but spent time on the PP last year
- Del Zotto scored 22 PPP in 2009-10 as a rookie, but only 10 PP in the last three years
One of these players could break the 40 point barrier should they claim and keep the main job in the power play. If I were betting man I think that Del Zotto has the best chance.

Christian Djoos - Washington
Tim Heed - San Jose - if Burns gets hurt, he could be the trigger man on a lethal Sharks PP
F - E. Lindholm (CAR) (HM to Horvat)
D - MDZ (VAN) I agree with your assessment Moses. (HM to Hanifin)
G - Jarry (PIT)
Not sure what's with the Car/Van theme.

Burns is the reason the sharks PP is lethal dude lol.
And that "Lethal" powerplay was 26th out of 30 teams last year.
I like Heed, but temper your expectations.
Slavin is getting no love. He slowly but surely took over the #1 Dman job in Carolina and was quietly putting up 34 points. He is now #1 over both Faulk and Hanifin on an improving team and I suspect he will start getting reasonable PP time to boot. +23 on a team that was a collective -144
He has some negatives. Lidstrom clean lady bing bend don't break type play means few PIM's and not a big hitter. But he blocks more shots than anyone else on the team.
