Werenski
Schultz
Klefbom
Makar
I have the number 4 pick in a 7 team 15 keeper where points are 1 & 1 for forwards but 2 points for a goal for a d-man and 1 for assist. Top 9 fwds / 6 d-man / 2 goalies (2 for a win and 5 SO) count. Currently have 4 protected d-man Letang, Shattenkirk, Hedman, and Pk Subban. The new D will probably be protected in future years as I have a fwd (6 currently protected) and possibly a goalie (5 protected) to drop. We draft 11 to bring our roster to 26. No bench or minor leagues.
Thinking the top 2 will be taking Hish & Patrick.
My ranking would be Werenski Schultz Klef then Makar (There are other d-men but just want to get other peeps opinion). We carry our players into the playoffs should we finish in the top 5. I do have Crosby and Murray but no Edm and no Columbus. Draft is this Saturday. Thank you for any help

Thank you all. Looks like I am hoping Werenski is available my pick otherwise leaning towards Klefbom. Even though I lean towards Pits for the playoffs, Edm should be a contender for years to come and it looks for now that Klefbom is their go to D-man. My rankings now, thanks to your input

I'm not even close to as high on Werenski as most, but even I'm taking him here.

Like everyone said but I think Klefbom is really close to Werenski. Especially that he gets to play with McDavid, he's gonna load up on easy assists.

In a keeper I'd be taking Werenski here also but I'd also bet on both Werenski and Klefbom falling short of lofty expectations this year and Schultz having yet another "under the radar" season. Of the guys on your list only one has ever broken 50 points and that's Schultz. Don't sleep on him. If you can grab Schultz in a later round I'd jump on it and I'd be taking him ahead of Klefbom.

(No I don't have a hockey problem...)
I lean towards EB's list primarily as I think he has another gear whereas Schultz showed his true worth last season
