Default Jake Gardiner or Nick Leddy

Do you guys see another 40 point season from Gardiner? or will he slowly lose ground to emerging Reilly and Zaitsev?

Who would you rather own in a points only league?

    I'd prefer Leddy.

    Less competition for prime minutes.

Agreed. I own Leddy and wouldn't trade him for Gardiner. I like what Leddy has become - super healthy, consistent, PP producer with a 40 point floor.

Agreed. Got Leddy in the 44 pt range while Gardiner at the 38~ pt range. Not much difference but Like you said less competition and more minutes and has potential for 50

Gardiner gets leaned in hard by Babs...and I see Toronto as the far superior offensive juggernaught as the years go by with the kids. I see Gards getting better on this team. I wouldn't trade my Gardiner for Leddy at the moment. Gut feeling for me.

Thanks for the imput guys, I was asking because I could maybe get Sam Reinhart in exchange of Gardiner.

I can call up Pulock from my farm team to compensate for his loss and he costs a lot less (salary cap league)

I would do that trade in less than a heartbeat.

do it. reinhart is just coming into his own and just hit 47 pts with potential to hit 65-70 once he hits his peak while Gardiner on the other hand is who he is IMO. I know some people disagree but thats my take on this situation

Agree with a lot of the above, my numbers suggest Gardiner is at his peak (early 40s). The Reinhart deal is a good one (I wouldn't do that deal if I owned Reinhart), but you will take a small hit on your overall D points as Gardiner will outscore Pulock this year. Salary though is a good reason to make the call though.

Leddy easily. He's just far easier to trust on the ice.
