Schneider is a great goalie but your league only values wins, so he's definitely playing on the wrong team for that. In most leagues, I would make that deal in a heartbeat. But in your league, I would rather just keep Rinne.
Hey All,
I'm looking for a suitable replacement for Rinne, and have been offered Schneider straight up for a 1st rounder in 2017, or for Burakovsky and a 2nd in 2017. To add some more details, this is a points only Keeper, 16 GMs, keep 12, with an additional 4 Farm Slots. We start 1 Goalie, and scoring is: W: 2pt, SO: 2, SOL/OTL: 1, G/A: 1
My Current Roster:
F - Crosby, Tavares, Backstrom, Landeskog, Little, Kadri, Atkinson, Burakovsky, Nelson, Bonino, Niederreiter
D - Byfuglien, Maatta, Gardiner, Daley, Vlasic, Orlov
G - Rinne, Niemi
Farm - DeAngelo, Point, Ritchie, Bowey
My current keeper list:
F- Crosby, Backstrom, Tavares, Atkinson, Little, Kadri, Niederreiter,
D - Byfuglien, Gardiner, Orlov, DeAngelo (moved up from Farm)
G - Rinne (or possibly Schnieder)
Thanks in advance!

Get Schneider for Bura and a 2nd. Can you then keep Rinne and Schneider?

Tough to part with Orlov, but I think in a 16 team league it makes sense to do. Wonder if you can throw Orlov into the deal and get a slightly better pick or an extra pick out of it?

He's added in Nikita Scherbak, but that really means nothing to me.
Have another GM offering me Dubnyk + Suter for Rinne + Gardiner
I'd rather keep Rinne....

Just to update you guys (thanks for the replies), I ended up Trading Rinne + 1st for Dubnyk + 2nd (my first rounder was second to last), and thought I might be able to get a top 5 goalie in exchange for Rinne as he's performing well right now.
Without save as a category, Schneider loses a lot of luster.

I'd consider getting Schneider as your 2nd goalie. If the cost is Burakovsky + 2nd then I make the move without delay. In a 16 team league there is always a premium on goaltending. Even holding Schneider as an asset to move later is better that Burakovsy/pick.
