Seems obvious he will leave Pittsburgh this season....where do you guys see him in the future?
I'm guessing Winnipeg or Dallas.....

I agree. Much more likely it's an offseason kind of move.

I think Buffalo will make a play for Fleury or Bishop. Their owner is hungry for a winning team and not afraid to spend $$, and the goaltending position is an obvious area in need of an upgrade for them to take the next step.
Calgary is my guess.
Yep doesn't seem obvious to me
Obvious may have been last offseason. I agree with Dallas though.

Dallas eats part of one of their goalies salaries + adds a sweetener or two for Fleury is my guess.

I've said Winnipeg in the past and nothing has changed my thinking since then. Hellebuyck is struggling, just as I predicted and Winnipeg is losing games as a result.
MAF to Winnipeg for a D-man, some sweetener involved to balance out the trade.

Most sense = Fleury finishes the year in Pittsburgh and then gets bought out.
They wont want to eat all that salary. They would waive him and let him get claimed. I think if he doesnt play ball on helping with a trade that is exactly what is going to happen. It gives the team leverage against him. Hey Mark, work with us on your NMC and help us find a deal with a team you wouldnt mind playing for, or we will just waive you and let the chips fall.
Not traded...VIVA LAS VEGAS!

St. Louis or Winnipeg
And the buyout could happen, especially if they way until the offseason. Teams may be unwilling to help them out, and they would buyout MAF before exposing Murray to Vegas.

I wonder, and I'm sure someone will correct me, but would an off season deal pre expansion draft make sense - so something like Fleury + to Dallas for Niemi/Lehtonen and a smaller +?
That way pitts have a goalie they can expose without exposing Murray and Dallas can expose Niemi/Lehtonen and still be happy with who they have left? Reason I think Pitts adds the bigger + is because they are exposing Murray if they can't move Fleury, and I'm sure other teams know that, so I'm thinking along the lines of the Coyotes Wings trade with Datsyuk and the cap space....
just soecukating butbwith with the protection rules you'd think even a Colorado or maybe even Arizona with the right + may also be tempted... now it's whether Fleury would go
