XHL - Extreme Rebuild Hockey, Yr2, $10, Fantrax, Available Franchises

The XHL has two openings for this upcoming season. This league adopted a large portion of their inaugural roster directly from the NHL affiliate team before the draft - - It is an “Extreme Rebuild” concept league and has a very solid base of enthusiastic GMs returning for year 2. Fees are approx $5 (only to cover Fantrax Premium costs), but there is a current poll to determine if we have a small prize this year… so possibly up to $10. H2H-Points, Salary Cap(NHL Salaries), Detailed Playoffs similar to the NHL.

Currently CALGARY and NASHVILLE are available… and they are both in pretty good shape IMO.

Draft lottery still to take place after all teams are accounted for and paid for. Calgary tied for best odds right now for #1 (@20%) and NSH 5th-best odds. (@10%) Top 3 spots will be determined like a lottery very similar to the NHL. Neither team can fall more than 3 spots from where they're currently at.

TWO teams left! (VAN & TB) TB is quite strong-- they went very deep into the playoffs last year!

UPDATE:

Only one team left-- Vancouver Canucks. IMO, it's a pretty interesting team. Still relying on the Sedins for veteran scoring, but a fairly good pipeline of prospects in place... AND decent odds to win the prospect lottery (15% -- ranked 4th best odds... will draft no lower than 7th overall in the worst case scenario).

UPDATE --

A lot more GMs have gone MIA than originally thought... there are now at least 5 teams available: OTT, ANA, DAL, BOS, SJ (and possibly FLA). The links in the first post with available team rosters has been updated.

This was a really great and relatively active league last year, and still has the potential to be great! Lead OTT ANA DAL BOS or SJ to the Cup before their real-life NHL team does!
