I'd hold Dubnyk if it's me. I think Boudreau coming in changes things up for the Wild, in a good way.
Hi guys,
Sorry, but I'm new to the forum. My categories are W(2) L(-2) SO(2) SV(0.15) GA(-1) for goalies. Right now I have Allen and Dubnyk and Brian Elliot is in the FA pool. Should I take Brian Elliot over Devan Dubnyk? I don't have a lot of confidence that Minnesota will do too well after last seasons performance. Any thoughts?

Since it's points (volume based) I am going to go with Dubnyk since he should play a good chunk more games than Elliott.

(No I don't have a hockey problem...)
Do you start 2 goalies or 1? If 2, I'd consider adding Elliott as a 3rd and dropping your worst position player. I wouldn't drop Dubnyk for him, but with 24 CGY games on slow hockey nights, there could be lots of added goalie starts available with Elliott - which would boost your point totals.

W(2)L(-2) is pretty harsh settings.
You simply can't roster a goalie on a losing team.
I'd almost prefer a back-up goalie on a really decent team, maybe even Carter Hutton.
I wouldn't touch Elliott as CGY isn't a great team and I'm not even confident he's their long-term guy.
I'd hold Dubnyk. MIN is still a solid team... their young kids don't get enough credit and their D is underappreciated in fantasy circles, but very solid.
Moving on from Vanek will help the team overall.

(Big gaps, IMO)
I'm not sure I'm sold on Calgary not being a good team as their goaltending really let them down... Not sure there's much/any gain going from Dubnyk to Elliott though
