Can only keep 36.98 million this summer. Prospects under 23 don't count against our keeper cap. If I activated them now before our keeper deadline, I'd have to clear some salary for them. So by keeping them inactive I essentially carry them forward for free. I can activate them anytime so if I hit the ground running maybe I'll bring them up. Having Forsberg sloughed away at 6 mil is a nice ace in the hole.

Makes sense to me then. That will be a huge bonus!

Congrats! Great asset management. And for what it's worth, I think Tavares will be in his prime when the rest of your team becomes competitive.
