Kessel for RNH +
In a keeper pool, points only, where I have a legit chance this year, is it worth trading away RNH and Skinner to obtain Kessel.
If RNH's injury stays on schedule, he should return with 10-12 games left to the season. He could/should be gold in EDM in a top 6 role...either with Hall/Draistl assuming they move Draistl to the wing like earlier this season. Not sure how he would fit on a line with McDavid.
Kessel is a nice replacement short term, but is he the type of player who's style of play will cause him to decline in productivity quickly. He has steadily been decreasing in production in the past 3 years, and this despite being traded to PIT. Ok, he had a good January.
Skinner, playing well lately, is he finally turning things around like in his rookie year, does he have upside, or treat him as a another 50 pt player.

I think if you can keep both RNH and skinner then I wouldn't do it. skinner does seem to be finding his game again. not sure he is anything more than a 60 point guy in CAR but you never know.
kessel to me has fallen to the same situation all wingers in PIT have fallen. hype but not follow through.
that being said if your league has good money for a winner than maybe I am doing this lol. see if you can get a second player.

ya...RNH and Skinner would both be keepers.
Like you said, I'm not sure that the point difference that I would get from Kessel for the rest of the season would be worth sacrificing RNH and Skinner long term.
-Kessel gets what, lets bet optimistically 24-27 points in his last 31 games.
-Skinner, lets bet conservatively, lets say 14 points in the last 28 games.
-RNH will return with 8-10 games remaining to the season. Lets bet conservatively, lets say 4pts in 10 games.
Combined, using 31games, RNH and Skinner will get me ~16pts at worse.
So, that's a difference of 10-12 points in favor of Kessel for the rest of the season.
Am I seeing this all wrong? It makes more sense to stand path!...right?
