    As per Brian Metzer:

\"The Penguins made some additional cuts this afternoon, assigning 13 players to their Wilkes Barre-Scranton affiliate.

The 13 players include forwards Kris Beech, Ryan Stone, Adam Henrich, Aaron Boogaard, Tim Wallace, Jonathan Filewich, David Gove and Christopher Minard; defensemen Deryk Engelland, T.J. Kemp, Ben Lovejoy and Joey Mormina; and goaltender David Brown.

The Penguins have 16 forwards, 10 defensemen and three goaltenders, for a total of 29 players remaining at training camp.

Notable players kept with the big team include forwards Bill Thomas, Janne Pesonen, Paul Bissonnette, defenseman Danny Richmond, Alex Goligoski and goaltender John Curry.\"

Of note, Stone and Filewich being sent down. Goligoski should stay up with the club till Whitney is back. And Dobber\'s boy Curry is having a great camp.
We get one of these - Don't waste it.

The consensus seems to be that Sabu will keep the job this year. Curry will be a full-time starter in the AHL, and will fight to be a backup next season.

Given the injury scare last year, I think the Pens are preaching depth in all areas, and with Sabu having 1 year left on his contract they\'d rather Curry get some good starts in the A.

That\'s the consensus and I agree with it.

However, the consensus was that Curry was undraftable. Then the consensus was that he should be signed for depth. Then the consensus was that he would not be a No.1 in the AHL. Then the consensus was...

Well, eff me for trying to help :P

Just kidding. For what it\'s worth, both Curry and Sabourin had a sparkling night last night and made lots of saves they had no business making. I\'m pretty excited to see Curry up with the big club next season.
