Time to drop Bob?

In a salary cap keeper league, is it time to drop Bobrovsky?. We dress two goalies and my other two are Holtby and Jones (with Vasilevskiy on the farm). We only count Ws, GA and SO for goalie points.

Welcome to the forums.

It always helps when you put as much info in your post as possible. How many teams are in your league? That determines goalie value in a 2G league.

As far as Bobrovsky goes, why would you drop him? It's a keeper league. He's coming off injury and if he can get back to where he was just before getting hurt, he's easily the better option compared to Jones.

At the very worst, if you don't want him anymore, why not trade him? Surely other teams would have a need for a starting goalie.

I find your comment about him interesting since Bob has 11 wins 65 GA and 1 SO, where Jones has 20 wins, 83 GA and 4 SO. The drop is because I am pondering a deal, but the deal puts me over the cap and Bob is 7.425 million. The deal is Zuccarello and Petan for Yakupov.

May I advise taking all of that league info, copying it to the clipboard, and pasting it into your signature?

It will pay off for you in the long run.

And I expect Axe's remark was based upon Bob's (much) larger body of work as compared to Jones. Bob has some skins that Jones just doesn't have.

Appreciate the advice. Fair enough on Axe's comment. So I guess my real question becomes then do I make the deal of Zuccarello and Petan for Yakupov, and if I do this, I will have shave 3 million of my books, so who from my list should I drop?
