Default Time to move for J. Neal? (REP)

With the Johansen deal done its clear NSH will get a boost in offence.

Johansen is an obvious buy low target with his poor start but most owners would be reluctant to move after his change of scenery.

Is J. Neal a better target? We've seen what he can do with elite centers. Also a clear underperformer.

Who should I try to trade 1 for 1?

    Oshie
    Plekanec
    Statsny
    Jenner
    Draisitl

Maybe a package? Team in sig..

    Not Draisaitl!

    Stash you or Jenner maybe.

I'm faced once again with the same question.

Been offered Neal for my OEL.

Given my D is the best in our league (4 In top 10) and that I still have Risto and Stralman, I'm thinking now is my time aswell! I'm in need of LW.

Kinda puts me in Nashville's place in real life

Both of those being buy low targets ended last night.

You could take the chance that NSH will have a rough stretch of games here over the next week to kind of shake their owners' confidence.

I'm not a fan of going after players the day that their owners got a bit of encouraging news.

Thanks for the input. Definitely leaning towards stastny. OEL seems like a high price for Neal no?

If you have done your due diligence and shopped the shit out of OEL to make sure there isnt a better deal out there, I suppose now would be a pretty fair opportunity to roll the dice and see if Neal blows up with Johansen centering him. Ironically, I acquired Neal (with O'Reilly as the main piece) when I traded Johansen away in November.

LOL. interesting! how do you feel about that now?
Yes...I've shopped the Shit out of OEL. I've pitched buddy several additional offers and he keeps coming back to Neal for OEL (he's pitched it again).

Sorry to the OGM... don't want to hijack your post.

The only other option I have at LW on the wire is Doan who I can have for free and would definitely be a rental. The rest of my Left Wing past Hall (palat up in the air) is not at all reliable.

OK, well see if you can get him to throw in a pick back to you, at least.

I still feel good about the deal I did. ROR is a monster in our format and Neal is no slouch. I lost Schwartz and Palat at LW and Neal commendably filled the gap. At 12-1 record now so its all good.

forget Neal the price will be too high, instead I suggest you track how the lines unfold once he plays and keep an eye on Craig Smith and Colin Wilson. Wilson can score last year he was a sneaky play and this year a lack of a good center seems the problem should he find his way onto Ryan's wing I suggest giving him an add.

Plekanec (or any of those guys) 1 for 1 is a joke, except maybe Draisitl. this is the Real Deal James Neal we're talking about. If you're looking 1 for 1, Neal's more in the range of Backes, Ladd, Kuznetsov and Draisitl IMO.

you spelled Voracek wrong in your sig. And it's Lundqvist and Fleury.

I'm not trying to be a douche I swear it is hard to convey tone of voice in text form just wanted to bring to light is all. Neal and Forsberg are going to get a long look on RyJo's wings but in time if it goes cold as Filip has done this season a shake up will be in order and one of those two will move up. Personally I think Colin can benefit most scored 20 last year and I do not believe Ribiero centered him now he gets an elite one possibly so I am watching him.
