I've got an offer for Toffoli

1st league in sig. Toffoli is C/LW/RW and only getting more valuable by the day.

Someone offered me Duchene for him straight up.

I honestly don't know what to do.

Wow! Genius offer, you almost have to take it. But at the same time, you could lose this deal almost immediately. He's coming off a 55-point year, and that's the year I think Toffoli has this year. I think I'd push for a draft pick, but otherwise I'd probably do the deal

I don't like it. TT has been getting bigger minutes of late (much more than last year) and has been leading the team in PPTOI. If he scores at the rate he did last year with more ice time and PP time he could feasibly top 60 points. If you look at last year's numbers, Duchene only outscored TT by 6 points in 6 more games and TT had a much more limited role.

I also like TT in your league for the SHP bonus. It's not a category I like to rely on but there are a few guys who seem to get lots and he is looking like one of them.

Does it help if I say I'm going absolutely nowhere this year? Draft picks and upgrades are what I'm looking at. But Toffoli is pretty great in this league. You think Duchene is simply the better option in this setup?

I own Duchene and in any league set of cats I would rather have Toffoli. Play a bit of hard ball, come back with an offer and try and think the way Glen Sather does lol.

In my league I asked the owner of Larkin if he would trade him straight across for Duchene and he said yes. The only problem is we couldnt trade until mid season draft because we already made a trade a few weeks ago.

He ended up trading Larkin

I'd take Toffoli. I'm not big on Duchene this year because of his bad line mates and I think Toffoli has a lot of potential

TT for me. more room for growth. I think MD is overrated. Just not a fan.
