Default Ovechkin available - What offer to make

    Hi guys,

One of the owners in my keeper league (see league in sig) is thinking about trading ovechkin to get younger, as he depleted his youth and his draft picks to go all in last year (it worked, he won on the last day beating yours truly!).

Now I have a pretty good team and I am in a good position to challenge for the title again this year. Here is what I'm thinking of offering considering he has an offer of N. Ehlers + M. Reilly + 1st on the table:

    1. Nichushkin + A. Duclair + 1st

    2. Nichushkin + V. Hedman + 2nd

Appreciate your thoughts and suggestions of trade based on my team in the sig!

I would over option number 1 for Ovechkin.

I would say that if you have to offer Hedman, you should not have to add both the pick and Nichuskin. You could maybe offer Nichuskin and Hedmand or Hedman and a 1st.

I would laugh at all offers as the Ovechkin owner. If he takes it, be happy that you robbed him, but i highly doubt it.

Ovechkin usually costs two top 20 players.

Traded my ovechkin along with gaborik, craig smith and bjustad for Kessel, Voracek, Vatanen and Saad.
So ya, 2 high end players is what it'll take.
Not for league in sig, but same scoring just no sog

If he takes either of those offers I'd be pretty happy

I'd be willing to offer much more than that for Ovy. Classic example of someone illogically trying to make his team younger. What's the purpose if he gets fleeced and is left with a terrible team?

I wouldn't trade Ovechkin for either deal if I owned Ovie. Nich is still basically a prospect. I would need a lot more proven talent added in deal. A lot.

I recently got OV for Quick, Schwartz and a 3rd. Like others have said, two impact players should be the starting point. The Hedman offer is a start, but I wouldn't take either if it was me receiving the packages.
