    Default OEL vs. Burns

Last keeper decision comes down to a choice between these two, can only keep 1.

Cats, league details, roster below in my signature.

FYI, the FHG tool results show that OEL is a better performer in my cats (I combined the last 3 years of data + Dobber's projections for this season), but Burns was quite good last season and I have him at a cheaper value than OEL.

FYI #2, I won the league last year with both these guys on my roster and am in a win-now mode to see if I can grab back-to-back titles.

Is OEL so superior he is worth the higher cost or, if it is pretty equal, do people believe I could get away with keeping Burns and trying to re-draft OEL?

    Thanks

I think you have to keep the best player. Is Shattenkirk worth keeping over either of these two (assuming you have him bolded, that you plan on keeping him)??? I don't think he is.

Thanks axeman...according to the FHG tool, Shatts is 3 spots below OEL, but significantly above (10+ spots) Burns for my cats. Thus I would likely keep Shatts or OEL + either Burns or the other left over from the first choice

I give Shatts a little bump also because I believe STL is a better team than SJS or PHX

That's really tough. My first thought was to drop Shatty too. If I had to pick between Burns and OEL for a one year league, I'd probably go with Burns. LOwer salary and I expect Arizona to be even worse this year. Plus there is always a chance Burns gets some time at forward. Very tough call though, you have too many good players :P

Thats similar to my thought process which is why I had Shatts already on the list and had to choose between OEL and Burns. I had myself convinced it was Shatts & Burns, but then ran the FHG tool and OEL was above both of them so it got me to re-consider. I am focused on this year since I'd like to repeat so I had notched OEL down a bit due to the PHX team situation.

I'm in agreement with keeping Burns here with Shatts. OEL and Arizona will be worse and I think you could re-draft him easier than Burns.
