    Default Grabner on the block....

Looks like Snow could be busy in the next few days....

Michael Grabner is on the trade block, according to Newsday’s Arthur Staple.
In fact, Staple says the Islanders are "actively shopping" the 27-year-old winger. After scoring 34 and 20 goals, respectively, in the 2010 and 2011 seasons, Grabner has a total of 36 goals over the past three seasons. He had eight goals and 13 points in 34 games in 2014-15 and recently had a second sports hernia surgery. He is due to make $5 million, with a $3 million cap hit, in the last season of his contract.

Ouch, that's going to be a very tough move for the Snowman!! A guy coming off a surgery and not scoring many goals before that, not going to be easy..

Yeah, this seems like a bad time to be moving on Grabner. Selling low to the max.

only way someone bites is if islanders eat 2.0 of the 5.0 which is something I doubt wang agrees to.

I dont mind him sticking around for another year because he's a nice weapon to own (slide up and down lineup as needed)

He is definitely a good player. I'm sure the Penguins would be interested for somewhere in the neighborhood of $2-3M.
